Do you choose WATERFALL, AGILE or HYBRID?

Many organizations are fixated on adopting the latest project management methodologies, often introduced by consultants like us. However, the question on what method you choose to run projects might not be the most correct one.

Why not combine the best of both worlds? Why not combine the planning rigor of Waterfall and the flexibility of Agile?

Waterfall is structured and sequential, predictable in terms of time and budget due to its detailed documentation, yet it’s inflexible and unsuitable for dynamic requirements or projects that are not well defined. Agile, on the other hand, promotes continuous value delivery and customer collaboration but often lacks sufficient documentation and predictability, making it less ideal for projects with fixed requirements.

The key to navigating this complexity lies in the latest HYBRID PROJECT MANAGEMENT that leverages the strengths of both approaches:

🔹Waterfall for planning (high-level deadlines, deliverables and contracts with customers)

🔹Agile for execution (execution cycle for project tasks)

So… do you choose WATERFALL, AGILE or HYBRID?
